In 2006 Reggie Dunn led Verbum Dei High School to a CIF championship.  Now a senior at Utah, the wide receiver/returner set a NCAA record by scoring touchdowns on two 100-yard kickoff returns in the same game, he has three 100-yard kickoff return touchdowns in the past two weeks, and he has four in his career, which is also a NCAA record.  Photo by Wily Low (AP)

Utah wide receiver/returner Reggie Dunn, who is from Compton and led Verbum Dei High School to a CIF football championship in 2006 (Dunn trained with B2G Sports), became the first player to have two 100-yard kickoff returns in the same game.  The senior achieved that feat in Utah's 49-27 victory over Cal two weeks ago.

Seventeen other players have returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in the same game in NCAA history, but Dunn is the first player to have both kickoffs cover 100 yards.

But Dunn was not done.  This past Saturday, in a 49-6 victory over Washington State, Dunn returned another kickoff for 100 yards.

Dunn is the first player in NCAA history to have three 100-yard kickoff return touchdowns in the same season, and he has four in his career, which is also a record.

When it comes to returns, Dunn now has his name above some of the greatest returners that football has ever seen.  He has accomplished feats that Notre Dame's Raghib "Rocket" Ishmail, Miami’s Devin Hester, or Michigan's Desmond Howard were not able to achieve.
